Features

The planned compiler inherits the code efficiency and features from CC5X, including multitasking support.

Current main limitations:
1) ASM file only (Holtek assembler is currently required to generate HEX file after compilation using generated ASM as input).
2) HT devices using banking of RAM (and code) by setting the BP register are not supported.

Schedule

Beta versions are available. The further schedule is not defined.

Demo Edition

The downloadable packages contains example code and txt files. The compiler is a 32 bit console application that can be started from the command line and from many IDE applications.

Up to 8k words of code can be generated, but NO hex file. The assembly file is MODIFIED (labels are not complete). This TEST edition supports 8, 16, 24 and 32 bit integers, fixed and floating point math, leanslice multitasking and FULL optimization (same as EXTENDED edition). This allows code development and conversion of existing applications to check code size.

Beta Evaluation

Beta versions of the STANDARD edition can be evaluated.

NOTE that beta versions expire on a certain date (typically around 1 year after release date).The compiler will then state an out-of-date message and terminate without compiling any code.
